OpenAI has scrapped the planned release of its new artificial intelligence model after researchers found it would lie to users, among other safety concerns.
The company had already announced a pause in training its most advanced models as reports of AI agents going rogue mount, including an OpenAI agent hacking an Australian Government portal.
Tech bosses will meet with Donald Trump on September 29th amid calls to slow down AI’s development and the need for additional safeguards.
