
American civil rights activist and politican Jesse Jackson has died aged 84.
He was the second African American to campaign nationwide for the Democratic nomination for presidency. During his presidential bid in 1984, he ran under the slogan "Run Jesse Run".
We look back at his speech during his 1983 campaign in southern American states, trying to get two million black voters in the south on the electoral register before the election in the following year.
