Former president Donald Trump is to turn himself in to the notorious Fulton County jail later to be booked on more than a dozen charges – all concerning his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election result in the state of Georgia. It is expected that Trump will have a mugshot taken.
Donald Trump is now en route to an airport in New Jersey to start his journey to Atlanta.
The former US president is expected to arrive at Fulton County jail in Georgia at around 12.30am UK time to turn himself in.
