Two children were killed and three others were injured in what Pakistan’s foreign ministry called an ‘illegal’ airstrike. ‘Pakistan reserves the right to respond to this illegal act. The responsibility for the consequences will lie squarely with Iran’, spokesperson Zahra Baloch said in a statement read out on state-owned broadcaster PTV. She also said the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan, who is at the moment visiting Iran, will not be allowed to return.
