Passengers from Asia badly hit as Heathrow shuts down after fire | Heathrow Analysis

At least 1,300 flights have been cancelled after Heathrow Airport was forced to shut down due to a power outage caused by a fire at a nearby substation.

Sky’s Asia correspondent, Helen-Ann Smith, said passengers travelling from Asia have been badly hit, with many flights already in the air when the airport was closed down.

Heathrow has told passengers in the UK not to travel to the airport "under any circumstances".
