Patrick Christys reacts to his team, Manchester United, refusing to wear a rainbow-coloured jacket in solidarity with a Muslim team mate.
Captains of Premier League football teams have been sporting armbands in support of the LGBTQ+ community, but one player refused to wear it due to his religious beliefs.
In another instance, Crystal Palace player, Marc Guehi, was criticised for wearing the armband but writing "I love Jesus" on it.
Speaking on GB News, Patrick hit out at Man Utd, saying: ‘The fact is they picked Islam over the LGBTQ+ community. Why? Because the worst thing you can do in British society is offend Islam.’
