Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro says what Trump is ‘offering isn’t freedom at all’

Josh Shapiro, the Pennsylvania governor who was a contender to be Kamala Harris’s running mate, spoke on the third night of the Democratic national convention in Chicago, taking Donald Trump and the GOP to task over their tendency to say that they’re fighting for the freedom of Americans. ‘It’s not freedom to tell our children what books they’re allowed to read. And it’s not freedom to tell women what they can do with their bodies. And, hear me on this, it sure as hell isn’t freedom to say you can go vote, but he gets to pick the winner.
