The Archbishop of Canterbury is under growing pressure as a petition to get him to resign hit more than 10,000 signatures.

Mr Welby has apologised after a review concluded that prolific abuser, John Smyth, might have been brought to justice had the archbishop formally alerted authorities sooner.
