Piers Morgan has responded after Earl Special issued an apology over his memoir of Princess Diana

Morgan’s had threatened legal action over the claims in Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, with allegations about Morgan that he has strongly rebuked.

The error centred on Spencer’s claim that Morgan was behind the publication of intrusive photos of Diana in 1993.

A statement from Earl Spencer said: "As an historian, accuracy is important to Earl Spencer. He therefore wishes to clarify that his assumption was incorrect. Earl Spencer apologises to Mr Morgan for this error." #piersmorgan #earlspencer #diana
