Planes spray-painted at UK airfield where Just Stop Oil says Taylor Swift jet landed

Just Stop Oil activists have sprayed two jets at a private airfield in Stansted where they say hours before Taylor Swift’s plane landed ahead of her shows at Wembley. The environmental activists posted on X to say that ‘private jet users are responsible for up to 40x as much carbon emissions compared with a commercial flight’. This comes one day after protesters from the same group sprayed Stonehenge with orange paint ahead of the summer solstice
