PM defends 'robust' China policy after reports Beijing were behind MoD hack

The Prime Minister says the UK must protect itself against the risk from China following what Sky News understands was a major data breach at the Ministry of Defence carried out by Beijing.

Rishi Sunak refused to name the country responsible, but said a "malign actor has compromised the armed forces payment network".

The Chinese government has dismissed the accusations as "absurd".
