Downing Street says Donald Trump and Sir Keir Starmer will meet in Washington next week.
It comes with Europe and US split over Ukraine’s future and European security.
Earlier, the prime minister said Europe was facing a "generation challenge" and NATO countries had to "do more".
"I think there’s a bigger piece here as well, which is that this isn’t just about the frontline in Ukraine," he said.
"It’s the front line of Europe and of the UK. It’s about our national security, and I think that we need to do more."
