The prime minister has said the UK will recognise a Palestinian state if Israel does not agree to a ceasefire and other conditions.
Former deputy mayor of Jerusalem, Fleur Hassan Nahoum, said Sir Keir Starmer should "invest in the leadership of the Palestinian people," as the "Palestinians need to get better leaders."
When Sky’s Wilfred Frost asked if she acknowledges the death of "innocent children,’ she responded "there are people dying in the Gaza Strip, for one reason and one reason alone, because they are run by a genocidal terrorist group called Hamas."
