Thousands of protesters have breached barricades around Islamabad, clashing with police who fired tear gas to disperse the crowds and block their advance. Imran Khan, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, has called on his supporters to "fight to the end" against what he describes as a "mafia" imposed on the country.
