
A police training programme designed to help officers identify and investigate non-contact sexual offences has now reached 120,000 officers, with police leaders claiming it is already helping to prevent more serious crimes.
Sky’s Sadiya Chowdhury has spoken to a woman whose decision to report a man masturbating on a train led investigators to link the suspect to a rape committed the previous day and arrest him before he could leave the country.
