Police in Brussels clashed with farmers protesting the EU’s planned free-trade deal with the South American Mercosur countries. Some European farmers, especially from France, fear being undercut by cheap food imports. Germany backs the trade deal, but French President Emmanuel Macron says it’s not ready.
