Police fire teargas as hundreds of thousands join student protests over crumbling schools | DW News

There have been renewed clashes with police in multiple French cities as tens of thousands join nationwide school student protests by pupils angry about underfunded schools. Parents and trade unions joined the students. The High School students’ union said more than half of the country’s schools were blockaded or would close for the day. We speak to DW’s Paris correspondent Lisa Louis.
