Police investigate ‘number of allegations’ following claims in news reports about Russell Brand

In some developing news tonight, Scotland Yard say they’ve received a number of sex offence allegations, following claims in news reports about Russell Brand – although no arrests have been made.

The head of the force’s Specialist Crime Command said they continued to encourage anyone who believes they’ve been the victim of a sexual offence to come forward, no matter how long ago it was. Mr Brand has strongly denied the claims.
