NBC News reports that authorities are investigating a "possible military connection" between the suspect in the New Orleans attack and a man who died in a Tesla Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas.
The explosion happened outside the Trump hotel just hours after the New Orleans attack, killing the driver and injuring seven others.
Gas canisters, camp fuel canisters and large firework mortars were found in the back of the truck.
