The disappearance of US TV host Savannah Guthrie’s mother is being investigated, authorities have said.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her home near Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday at around 9.30pm. The 84-year-old was reported missing by her family on Sunday after she did not attend church, according to police.
On Monday, Chris Nanos, the Pima County sheriff, said: "We don’t see this as a search mission so much as it is a crime scene."
Police believe she was abducted from her home while she slept, CBS reported.
Savannah Guthrie is a co-anchor on the NBC News morning show Today on US television.
