Police have been searching two properties belonging to Lord Mandelson in connection with their investigation into alleged misconduct in public office.

In a statement the Met said the 72-year-old had not been arrested and "enquiries are ongoing".
Mandelson has not publicly commented on the current investigation – but he has stepped down from the Labour Party and the House of Lords.
