Senator Alejandro Moreno, leader of the opposition Institutional Revolutionary Party grabbed the president of the Senate, Gerardo Fernández Noroña because he said he was angry he didn’t get the chance to speak.
Tensions were high as topics such as the possibility of US military intervention were being discussed.
Noroña says he’s going to file a complaint against Moreno and call for his expulsion, as well as other opposition members involved in the brawl.
