Power outage in France, Spain and Portugal

A huge power cut has put Spain, Portugal and parts of France to a halt.

The Spanish energy authorities said the blackout resulted from an "interruption" in the European electricity grid.

Metro train systems, airports and schools were forced to close, internet outages reported, and at one stage water supplies were interrupted.
