Tsunami warnings in the Philippines and Indonesia have been lifted after a powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake, according to the warning agency.

Earlier, the US-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center had cautioned that waves up to 3 meters (10 feet) could hit the Philippine coast, with smaller waves of about a meter expected in Indonesia and Palau.
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ordered evacuations in several coastal areas, while Indonesian officials reported no significant damage.
