Princess Beatrice has given birth to a baby girl named Athena several weeks prematurely, Buckingham Palace has said.
Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their second child on 22 January at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, weighing 4lb 5oz.
In a social media post, her father said: "She is tiny and absolutely perfect."
In a statement, the palace said: "Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of the Royal Family have all been informed and are delighted with the news."
