The jury at the trial of the former TV presenter Russell Brand on charges including rape and sexual assault, have been told that he was a "ruthless, calculated and manipulative sexual predator".

Prosecutor Riel Karmy-Jones told the court that six women had come forward independently with allegations of offences between 1999 and 2009, in a variety of locations.
Brand has denied the charges and the case continues.
