Protesters beaten by Israeli police

Ultra-Orthodox Jews have been beaten and detained in Jerusalem whilst demonstrating against a new law which forces them to be drafted into the army. Traditionally, ultra-Orthodox Jews have been exempt from the draft. Israeli police called the protest illegal, and said force was used to remove people from roads. This video contains distressing images.
