Protesters gather in Chicago’s Union Park before Democratic party convention

Demonstrators arrived in Union Park in Chicago before the opening of the Democratic party national convention. The Coalition to March on the DNC, who organised the demonstration, is composed of 172 organisations from Chicago and across the country. Activists are demanding an immediate ceasefire and a halt on arms sales to Israel
