Putin agrees to 30 day pause in strikes on Ukraine energy

The Kremlin says Vladimir Putin has agreed to stop attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure for 30 days, in his phone call with Donald Trump.

But Russia’s President also stressed that the US and its allies must end all military and intelligence assistance for Ukraine, as a key condition of any peace deal. And there was talk of organising ice hockey games between Russia and the US.
