Russian president Vladimir Putin says he could meet with Donald Trump in the United Arab Emirates in the coming days. The White House and the Kremlin have confirmed plans for the summit are underway. Trump has been pressing for a meeting with Putin, as he seeks to secure an end to Russia’s war against Ukraine. Putin has dismissed the idea of meeting Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy, saying the conditions for such a summit were far from ready.
