Putin supports idea of Ukraine ceasefire – but questions peace conditions

Speaking in the last few hours President Putin has given his response to the 30-day unconditional ceasefire proposed by the Americans and Ukrainians on Tuesday.

And suffice to say he has conditions. He said that any ceasefire must lead to a final settlement that would "solve the root causes" of his invasion. And he had plenty of his own conditions.
