Putin’s ceasefire conditions ‘a smokescreen’

As Vladimir Putin sets out the conditions for a Ukraine ceasefire, the US envoy Steve Witkoff met the Russian leader in Moscow late last night.

A spokesman said talks between Putin and Donald Trump would be arranged. Ukraine said the list of conditions showed that Russia wanted to continue the war – warning his words were "just a smokescreen".
