Qatar has said that further talks were needed over details of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan aimed at ending the war in Gaza, with Hamas yet to offer a view on the deal.
Trump said on Tuesday that Hamas had "three or four days" to reply to the proposed peace plan that would mean the group being removed from Gaza’s government and replaced by a technocratic board of experts.
Trump also said there was "not much" room for Hamas to negotiate changes to the plan.
But on Tuesday, Qatar said some negotiation was needed.
Three Arab officials told The Associated Press that changes favoured Israel, with one saying: "This is not what we agreed on, this is the Netanyahu plan.”
Despite this, most Arab countries continue to publicly welcome the deal.
