Qatari negotiation chief says Gaza deal '90% done'

The man at the centre of negotiations over a Gaza ceasefire has told Sky News Donald Trump wants a deal before he comes into office in January.

Speaking exclusively to Sky’s Yalda Hakim, Qatar’s prime minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani said a deal was "90% there" and he was cautiously optimistic it could be pushed over the finishing line but it required "maximum pressure" on all parties.

The minister also said Mr Trump’s election presented "risks and opportunities" in the Middle East.
