For her first time flying a fighter jet solo, the Thai royal family says Thailand’s Queen Suthida piloted a JAS 39 C Gripen while King Maha Vajiralongkorn watched from the ground. They also say Suthida trained for several weeks at Thailand’s Wing 7 air base and has logged more than 1,000 flight hours since she began flying in May 2010.
