Two RAF pilots who ejected from their aircraft moments before it exploded on the ground, steered it away from built-up areas, it has been revealed.
The pilots – an experienced instructor and a trainee – are expected to make a full recovery after the dramatic crash in Anglesey on Wednesday.
One witness told ITV News he could see something was wrong as soon as the Hawk jet took off from the RAF Valley station on the island.
