What’s believed to be a newborn Great White Shark has been captured on film for the first time ever by YouTubers in California.
Carlos – who posts under the name of TheMalibuArtist – uploads drone videos that have wracked up millions of views on YouTube, often showing great whites swimming worryingly close to humans.
As far as experts are aware, the birth of a great white shark has never been witnessed – but this new footage could be the closest thing to that.
However, some marine biologists urge caution at jumping to the conclusion that this is definitely a newborn great white shark.
