Recovering ketamine addict told he'll need bladder removed in 'major surgery'

Oliver Westall, 25, had to wear incontinence pads before having a stoma bag fitted, following an eight-year addiction to ketamine.

Habitual users of the drug are at risk of developing ketamine bladder syndrome, a severe, often debilitating, inflammatory condition of the urinary tract caused by chronic or recreational ketamine use.
