Relatives of Israeli hostages call for their release from Gaza

Relatives of Israeli hostages in Gaza protested in Tel Aviv on Saturday. The first phase of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas ended last weekend. There has since been little progress made in the second phase of the deal. A Hamas source accused Israel of ‘procrastinating and continuing to violate the agreement’. The preferred Israeli scenario is to free more hostages under an extension of the first phase, rather than a second phase, the defence minister, Israel Katz, said.
