Rescue underway after jet crashes into military helicopter in the US | DW News

A passenger jet has crashed into the Potomac River near Washington after colliding with a U.S. military helicopter.
The incident occurred as the aircraft was approaching the runway at Ronald Reagan National Airport on its flight from Kansas. Officials report that fireboats and emergency crews are responding, with inflatable rescue boats deployed. All take-offs and landings at the airport have been suspended.
