Residents living close to wildfires in the North York Moors National Park are being warned to pack "grab bags" in case they need to leave their homes.
North Yorkshire County Council said people should consider making contingency plans as emergency services continue to deal with fires which have raged for more than two weeks.
It comes as fire chiefs called for support from across the country and said the heat from the blazes had caused the detonation of several unexploded bombs.
