Restrictions on Gaza aid distribution remain as Israel continues military onslaught of enclave

Gaza’s health ministry said Monday that at least 52 people have been killed in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip Sunday night. According to Gaza health officials, an Israeli strike killed 31 Palestians when it hit a school-turned-shelter housing displaced people, setting people’s belongings ablaze and leaving scenes of charred bodies. The Israeli military said it had targeted militants operating from the building.
Meanwhile, aid organizations continue to press for a complete removal of restrictions on aid deliveries into Gaza to alleviate what they describe as a humanitarian catastrophe.
