Returning to school after a civil war | ITV News

In Syria, after over a decade of civil war, some children are going back to school.

There has been some stability since the end of the Assad regime in December 2024, allowing families who had fled for their lives to return home.

Around half of Syria’s children still don’t go to school, but those that are now resuming their education have some hope at last.
