The employment minister Dame Diana Johnson spoke to Sky’s Darren McCaffrey about pub business rate hikes.
She defended overall changes to business rate calculations, saying they are "fairer" on small businesses.
"I think it’s wrong if you just have a policy and you’re not willing to listen to people who are going to be affected by it," she added.
