Rishi Sunak sidesteps question on whether strikes against Houthis will be 'prolonged'

The UK prime minister has delivered a statement in the House of Commons after the UK and US led strikes against the Houthis in Yemen and the Red Sea. Rishi Sunak was asked whether the campaign may need to be ‘prolonged’, to which he said no decision had been taken on further action. The government reserved the right to act in self defence, he added. The US-UK attacks were the second round of strikes against the Houthis after the group began attacking ships in the Red Sea.
