A bakery chain part-owned by comedian Romesh Ranganathan has shut down, blaming increased bills, business rates and national insurance charges.
Ranganathan became co-owner of Coughlans Bakery in 2024, which has branches in south London, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex, years after he reportedly became a fan of the chains plant-based products.
In a post online, the comedian said he was ‘gutted’ by the closure.
