Jurors at the trial of Russell Brand have been shown a police video interview with a woman who claims she was raped by the actor and comedian in 1999.
In the interview the woman says she was raped after meeting him on the fringes of that year’s Labour Conference.
She decided to come forward to police in 2023, after Channel 4 Dispatches broadcast a documentary featuring other allegations of sexual misconduct against Brand.
He denies the charges and the trial continues.
