Russia claims total control of Luhansk region in eastern Ukraine

Russia claims to have taken control of more territory in eastern Ukraine as it continues with a large offensive. [Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe]

It says Luhansk is now under complete control for the first time since its invasion in 2022, with around 70 per cent of the Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya areas also in the grasp of Russian forces.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says in this latest offensive, Russia has fired over 1,000 drones.
