Russia has fired a barrage of missiles and drones targeting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, including the launch of its hypersonic Oreshnik missile at a target near the EU border.

The massive overnight strike killed four people and injured at least 25, leaving half of Kyiv’s apartment buildings without heating, Kyiv’s Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
Moscow said the attack was retaliation for a Ukrainian drone strike on President Putin’s residence in December, which Kyiv denies.
Ukraine described the Oreshnik missile strike as a "warm crime" and said it posed a “grave threat” to European security.
