Russian spies targeting MPs, media and civil society with cyber-hacking, says minister

Leo Docherty, a Foreign Office minister working under David Cameron, has told parliament that the Russian federal security service, FSB, was using ‘cyber-interference’ to target politically connected people. He said: ‘They have been targeting high-profile individuals and entities with a clear intent: using information they obtain to meddle in British politics’
